Registration is now open for the Under-19 Football Tournament 2025, organized by West Marine to promote football in Kudahuvadhoo.
The main objectives of this tournament are to sustainably continue football tournaments targeting various age groups in Kudahuvadhoo, and to create opportunities for young players from Kudahuvadhoo to join national-level teams across different age categories. Additionally, promoting good sportsmanship, strengthening social connections, and instilling a competitive spirit are also important goals of this tournament.
According to the tournament rules, each team can register a maximum of 20 players. The age requirement for players is between 13 and 19 years. Every team has the opportunity to include up to 4 players from outside the island.
The Champion team will receive MVR 7,000 and the Runner-up team will receive MVR 3,000 as cash prizes.
Teams interested in participating must complete the online registration form and submit it before May 31, 2025, as requested in the announcement. The form is available on the West Marine Facebook page.
