The Kudahuvadhoo Bodu Eid Futsal Challenge and its logo have been officially inaugurated. The tournament, which includes participation from a total of 9 teams, had its logo unveiled by the guest of honor, Dhaalu Atoll Council President Ahmed Shafiu, along with Kudahuvadhoo Council President Jadullah Hameed. The logo symbolizes the Maldivian Bodu Eid and culture and was designed by Monox Studio.
The inauguration ceremony was held last night at Viola Restaurant by Brothers Academy. The tournament was officially inaugurated by Atoll Council President Mr. Ahmed Shafiu.
During his inauguration speech, Shafiu acknowledged and thanked Brothers Academy for their ongoing efforts to promote sports in Kudahuvadhoo and offered his encouragement. He also mentioned that he would provide full support for such initiatives. Shafiu urged the teams to conduct themselves in accordance with the spirit of sportsmanship for the successful execution of this tournament.
While introducing the tournament, Brothers Academy President Ismail Adil noted that this is just the beginning. He announced that the tournament will continue to be held in the coming years as well. Adil also expressed gratitude to Goli Sports, which has been organizing similar tournaments in Kudahuvadhoo for about 9 years.
Last night's ceremony was attended by team managers of the participating teams as well as senior officials from various institutions on the island.
