As per the guidelines provided by the Ministry of Education, a children's evening event was held today in Kudahuvadhoo in connection with World Children's Day. In addition to the children's evening, the Ministry has also instructed schools to conduct a special assembly. This assembly will take place on Sunday, May 11.
The day's activities in Kudahuvadhoo were conducted under the initiative of Dhaalu Atoll Education Center. Various institutions and organizations from Kudahuvadhoo, along with some nearby resorts, participated in the children's evening activities. Participants included Dhaalu Atoll Council, Kudahuvadhoo Council, Dhaalu Atoll Hospital, Maldives Islamic Bank, Bank of Maldives, Kudahuvadhoo Amanveshi, Fenaka Kudahuvadhoo Branch, Kudahuvadhoo RDC, Dhaalu Airport, Kudahuvadhoo Police Station, United Islamic Society, Maidhan, as well as RIU Resort, Kandima, and Niyama Resort.
Many exciting activities were conducted during the children's evening. Each participating institution organized various games suitable for different age groups. Children received gifts from each stall upon completing the tasks in every game. Traditional Maldivian characters also met with children from the stage and various stalls, presenting performances. Canteen services were also available during today's evening event.
While children's activities were ongoing, a donation box was set up to help Palestinian children. This fund was established to remember these children on such a day and to provide assistance to them. Many children participated in the games during today's evening. The Dhaalu Atoll Education Center, in collaboration with various institutions, organized all arrangements for the venue in the most complete manner possible for this evening event. This was evident in every aspect of the evening. Kudahuvadhoo is known for having residents who are united and cooperative in such social events.
